Details
A writing desk is a different object from a computer desk. It is meant to be spare, low and quiet, with enough clear surface for paper and a laptop and nothing built in to date it. The Jaya holds that brief at 39.2 inches wide and 29 inches high.
One drawer takes the pens, pencils and small supplies that otherwise migrate across the surface, which is all the storage a desk like this should have. The space saving silhouette suits an apartment, a dorm room or a home office where square footage is the constraint rather than budget.
Built from composite wood produced in Malaysia under green production practices, with a high proportion of recycled material and a low odour, stable finish. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals. Assembly is required, with instructions and hardware supplied. Minor variances up to half an inch may occur between components.
