Refund policy
Last updated: {{ last_updated }}
We want you to be glad you bought from AVENZA. This policy covers returns, refunds, damaged items, and order cancellations.
Change of mind returns
You may return most unused, unassembled items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Because furniture is shipped back at real freight cost, a 15% restocking fee applies to change-of-mind returns, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. There is no restocking fee if the return is due to our error, or to a damaged or defective item, see below.
To start a return, email shaun.arulanandam@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return before sending anything back. Items returned without prior authorization may not be refunded.
What cannot be returned
- Items that have been assembled, installed, or used
- Items without their original packaging
- Any item marked as final sale on its product page
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us at shaun.arulanandam@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you, and there is no restocking fee in these cases.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect a returned item, we will email you to confirm the refund. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Shipping charges from the original order are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error or a damaged or defective item.
Order cancellations
You can cancel or change an order free of charge any time before it ships. Once an order has shipped, our standard return policy above applies. To cancel an order, email shaun.arulanandam@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or your situation does not fit neatly into the categories above, email us at shaun.arulanandam@gmail.com. We would rather work it out with you directly than have you stuck on a technicality.
